Evie (formerly Veda) Dovaston is an experienced freelance writer, editor and proof reader with a specialist interest in education and training. After graduating from the University of Cambridge, she received her own training as an editor and proof reader with Penguin Books.

Past and present clients include national (UK) and international businesses and research organisations, particularly those using and specialising in open learning, and book publishers of all types. She's also helped numerous students, academics and individual authors with their projects - whether writing for publication or their own professional or research purposes.

Although she has worked in a freelance capacity more or less since graduation, Wordwebs was the original name for her freelance network business, which evolved out of the Thames Valley University Freelance Network in 1991-4. For more, see the Instructional Design page.
